ARNE LÜBBERT

Arne studied jazz guitar in Hamburg and is a graduate of the so-called 'Popkurs'

(Germany's renowned popular music course of study). He's a member of the Notion Sound Collective, works and hangs with the people of Studio Mondbasis, and composes original music of many different genres. Since his graduation, Arne has been teaching, playing theatre and musical shows and performing on stage in various bands. Lately he's been very prolific playing his solo guitar compositions on YouTube, but has also found time to publish original teaching material at gumroad.com. Currently, he is looking forward to releasing his first solo EP soon. Follow him on Instagram

Heinz
Lichius

Heinz' masterful drumming has garnered the recognition of a huge array of artists from the realms of pop to jazz and beyond. He can be heard as session drummer on countless records. He is a regular guest with the world-renowned NDR big band, and his credentials as a sideman include names like Roger Cicero, Peter Weniger, Orange Blue, or the Maria Baptist big band – but he also sits in with Steffi whenever she performs her own material.

Heinz and Lars make up two thirds of the European Jazz piano trio SOLEA.

We are all looking forward to the upcoming release from his new band The Sidemen.

Jan
Bürger

When he was just eight years old, Jan began performing on stages on a regular basis. Starting out as a member of the Göttinger Knabenchor, he became a soloist at the Göttinger Symphony Orchestra, and at the Deutsches Theater Göttingen. As a member of –and occasional songwriter and arranger for– the a cappella quartet MAYBEBOP, he has been touring Germany, Austria and Switzerland with ever-mounting success for twenty years now.

Recently, he has been spending more and more time arranging vocal music and doing clinics for choirs and vocal groups – at least when he's not busy improving his golf handicap. Check out his website.

Kathrin
Carbow

A trained musician, Kathrin has been on stage as a singer, choir director and performer in musical productions for most of her life. As a solo artist, she is equally at home in various genres, be it chanson, jazz, pop, classical music or film scores. Working with top-notch artists such as New York Voices, Phil Mattson or Michele Weir has had a huge impact on her musical development. Her annual workshops for female voices (“Wein, Weib und Gesang” and “Töchter/Mütter/Tanten” have proven to be a fresh and valuable addition to the German choir scene. Studying at the prestigious Complete Vocal Institute in Copenhagen and partaking in various CD productions keeps keeping Kathrin on her toes.

Linus
Kasten

Linus learned the art of vocal arranging and choral conducting at university as well as in clinics with vocal jazz greats like Darmon Meader, Michele Weir or Jens Johansen. From 2001 to 2010, he enjoyed some success as the director of jazz choir Just Friends. Besides being a full-time school teacher, Linus has been working as an arranger, a coach for choir clinics and as an adjudicator at choir competitions. It is to him we owe all the awesome TREETS arrangements! Furthermore, Linus has been a member of the ten-piece vocal improv group Stimmorchester Hannover since 2016, and has recently launched a music podcast with collaborator Torsten Ribbe, appropriately called “Listen!”

StePHanie
Hundertmark

Steffi's musical training started when she was just four years old. As a member of her local children's choir, she took part in the recording of a Christmas album, later received piano lessons and soon began to write songs. After a gap year in California she studied pop music in Hamburg. Since then she has toured as a backing vocalist and with different a cappella ensembles, sang for numerous TV (and radio?) commercials (Lufthansa, Merci Chocolate and Nivea, to name just a few), and recorded lots of music for children. She is also the voice of the internationally successful chillout project 'VARGO'. Steffi's is especially proud of her two solo albums, the latest recorded and produced by Canadian Grammy nominee Joby Baker.
